This “Interactive Continuing Education Course” is specific and WILL directly relate to the Florida Laws and Rules governing the practice of engineering as defined in Chapter 471, Florida Statutes which apply to Professional Engineers Licensure for the State of Florida. This continuing education course has been developed to meet the mandatory 4 HOUR’s of PDH compliance under FBPE mandatory Laws & Rules of Chapter 471 and 61G15 F.A.C. during the license biennial renewal established by The Florida Board of Registration of Professional Engineers.



The continuing education provided in this interactive course is based upon the listed/attached required reference materials contained in this course which will both review and cite the changes in the preceding Biennium which will comprise of the following:

LEARNING OBJECTIVES/GOAL:


This course learning objective/goal is to educate the Professional Engineer regarding a FULL review and address the applicable adopted, amended, and/or repealed changes to the following: Governing Florida Statutes 455 & 471, and Rule 61G15 -Florida Administrative Code, Role. The course will address the responsibilities of The Florida Board of Professional Engineers, The Standards of Practice, description and identification of the FEMC including Disciplinary Action Case Examples w/applicable Law References, and provide a review of the newly adapted Law & Rule changes.

This interactive course was created to meet and/or exceed the established criterion for professional engineers to comply/adhere to maintain licensure in The State of Florida with strict adherence to the governing entity FBPE.


This interactive course offered as both a self study distance learning and webinar WILL satisfy the intention of the FBPE mandatory Laws & Rules continuing educational requirements during the license biennium established by The Florida Board of Registration of Professional Engineers.
