Course Description:

This self study course has been created to educate professionals on the topic Cadmium.  This naturally occurring element found in the earth’s crust and is commercially used as an electrode component in alkaline batteries, with the remainder used in pigments, coatings, plating, and as a stabilizer for plastics.  Many workers in many industries face potential exposure to Cadmium.
